Sisterhood of Marietta "Yes, Lord" Retreat

All those in or interested in Sisterhood of Marietta are invited to attend our "Yes, Lord" retreat. The "Yes, Lord!" Sisterhood of Marietta weekend is designed to help young women discover and embrace God's purpose for their lives. Through prayer, reflection, and personal discussions, participants will explore how to say "Yes" to the invitations God presents in their everyday lives, whether it’s in relationships, vocations, or personal growth.

The retreat will include uplifting talks, group discussions, and guided meditations to deepen participants' spiritual journeys. Alongside these enriching spiritual activities, the retreat will also offer a creative outlet with fun crafts and interactive games, allowing the young women to express their faith and build lasting memories.

The retreat will foster a strong sense of sisterhood as participants bond over shared experiences and learn to support one another in their faith journey. This retreat is not only a time to grow closer to God but also to form lasting friendships and a community of young women committed to responding with a joyful "Yes" to God's calls.

Interested in going to NCYC 2025? SMG is bringing a group! Fill out this interest form.

What?

Experience the premier Catholic youth event in the nation! NCYC will take place November 20-22, 2025, in Indianapolis. This unique event offers Catholic teenagers a powerful encounter with Christ, through prayer, catechesis, and community. Don’t miss out on this transformative journey!

Teens in grades 9-12 in the 2025-26 Academic Year

November 20-22, 2025 (Thursday-Saturday...miss 2 days of school)

Where? Indianapolis, IN at Indiana Convention Center & Lucas Oil Stadium

$575 per person for a 4 person room (youth or adult)
$750 per person for a 2 person room (adult option only)
These rates are good with $100 deposit by April 25, 2025.

St. Maria Goretti Children's Choir Sign-Up Form to Sing at the Sunday Masses!
Our Children's Choir welcomes all parish children from 2nd to 8th grade, no matter where they attend school. Our goal is to have this joyful group sing at a different Mass every month and has the special honor of leading music at our Christmas Eve and First Communion Masses. It’s a wonderful opportunity for kids in the parish to share their love of music, make new friends, and grow in their faith while having fun!

Please fill out the form if you would like your child(ren) to be a part of the SMG Children's Choir that will be singing this year! In addition to singing every month, we'll also sing at 1st Communion and Christmas Eve Masses.

Elijah Cup Sign Ups

At each Lord's Day Mass, one family receives a chalice that has held the Consecrated Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and brings it into their home for one week. This cup is a focal point encouraging family prayer for holy vocations throughout the Church, especially those in Religious Life. Fish Fry Volunteers

Lent is right around the corner! The Holy Name Society will host only two Friday FISH FRYS this year— March 7 and March 21, 5-7:30pm, in the Parish Hall. Both Dine-In and Drive-Up options will be available again. This is a perfect opportunity for fulfilling FISH (no pun intended) for school families and high school students can earn Confirmation and school Service Hours. Bible Basics

Get a head start on Sunday Mass! Join us for exciting discussions on the weekly Scripture readings Sunday mornings from 8:30-9:30a in the school's Teacher's Lounge (located next to the School Office in the School Narthex). Bible Basics' meeting schedule follows the Parish Religious Education class calendar. All adults and teens are welcome. No registration or homework is required. RESCHEDULED: HEALING FROM SUBSTANCE ABUSE

All are invited to a special workshop at no cost in the parish narthex on Thurs., March 13, from 6:30-8:00p focused on coping with and healing from substance use, whether it pertains to you or someone you love. Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor Holly Homan of JRNY Counseling in Carmel, will deliver the workshop titled, “What’s Your Solution?” Each attendee will receive self-reflection information and a challenge for next steps in their own journey of healing.
